WORKING WOMEN OF BSNLEU WB CIRCLE ARE TAKING LEADING PART TO MAKE BSNLEU NO 1. AGAIN IN VTH MEMBERSHIP VERFICATION

The Working Women Group of BSNL Employees Union, West Bengal Circle organized a massive gathering of more than 100 Working Women attached to only 09 Districts situated within Kolkata at CTO Union Room of BSNLEU on 20th January, 2011 to discuss regarding the ensuing Vth Membership Verification of the Non Executives of BSNL. Comrade Banani Chattopadhyay and Comrade Jhumur Bandyopadhyay, both Organising Secretaries of BSNLEU, WB Circle addressed the huge gathering. Comrade Manisha Biswas, Assistant Circle Secretary Calcutta Telephone District Circle also spoke on the occasion. Comrade Sibani Das, President Working Women Group of BSNLEU, WB Circle presided over the meeting.

The speakers in their speeches highlighted the present situation of BSNL and requested all to come forward to save BSNL. They have also made it clear that the BSNL workers will fight tooth and nail against disinvestment and VRS and they will fight to get their just demands from the Authority. The speakers also accused the opponents for their compromising attitude towards the management. The leaders in their speeches requested the working women to defeat the evil forces exists in BSNL as well as in the society.

The working women were very much enthused and assured the leaders that they will again make BSNL Employees Union No. 01 in West Bengal Circle and they have a firm belief that BSNLEU will be no. 01 in the ensuing Vth Membership Verification in all the Circles throughout India.
