CIRCLE OFFICE BEARER MEETING WAS HELD ON 10^TH MARCH’2010 AT UNION OFFICE T.C.O. BUILDING. THE FOLLOWING DECISIONS HAVE BEEN TAKEN IN THE MEETING FOR IMMEDIATE IMPLEMENTATION.

• Observe lunch hour mass demonstration on 15^th March’2010 at SSA level at the call of Joint Forum, New Delhi protesting (1) 30% Disinvestment

(2) Retrenchment of ONE lakh Workers through VRS (3) Unbundling of last mile  copper wire (4) Outsourcing

and demanding (1) Settlement of ITS Absorption (2) 93 Million GSM Tender (3) IDA Pension Revision.

• Demands Day on 17th March, 2010 by Casual & Contract Workers and sending telegrams to CMD, BSNL demanding that the wages of Casual & Contract Workers should be revised based on the minimum pay scale of BSNL. District Secretaries of BSNLEU are requested to take initiative to organize the demonstration successfully. District Secretaries in and around Kolkata are requested to mobilize the members at CGMT office at 1300 hrs. on 17-03-2010.
• A state Level Convention of Co-ordination Committee of BSNL Unions will be held on 25^th March’2010 at Calcutta University Centenary Hall at 1600 hrs.. District /Branch Secretaries in and around Kolkata are requested to mobilize maximum number of members. Action should be taken to organize such type of convention at District level also.

• Observe BSNLEU Day on 22nd March 2010 :- It has been decided that the 9^th Anniversary of formation of BSNLEU will be organized in a befitting manner. District Secretaries are requested to organize this day as social commitment programs like blood donation,, supply of uniforms to poor students, supplies of spectacles to poor old people,, Food to Children in orphanage etc. Centrally this programme will be held at Telecom Institute, C.T.O. Kolkata at 3 PM by helping the poor low paid workers those are co-operating our union activities regularly like mike operator , printing workers etc.

• A State level Convention of AIBDPA :- It has been decided that a State level Convention of BSNL retirees will be held on 30^th March’2010 at Telecom Institute Hall C.T.O. Kolkata at 1 PM. District Secretaries are requested to send our senior leaders to attend the Convention. Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri, G.S. BSNLEU, Com. Susanto Ghosh, Vice-President of AIBDPA , Com. Ananta Bhattacharyee, President of AIBSDPA will be present in the Convention. District/Branch Secretaries are also requested to collect membership from the retired BSNL Employees without further delay.

• AIC at Trivandrum :- The All India conference will be held from 12^th to 15^th May’2010 at Trivandrum, Kerala. No. of delegates as per quota received by the CHQ will; be published in Tele-crusader, March’2010. District Secretaries are requested to contact Circle Secretary regarding the number of delegates and purchase their tickets immediately.

• As par decision of the Circle Conference a Jatha will be organized. District Secretaries are requested to discuss the matter in their District Working Committee meeting and chalk out the route in their district and send it to the Circle Union so that State wise Jatha could be organized in a systematic way. The date and time will be fixed after getting your route map etc.
