Dear Comrades,

                             You are aware of the fact that the BSNLEU WB Circle Union has already taken a decision to organize Hunger strike for 72 hrs w.e.f 27th 2011 to 29th September, 2011 at Branch, District and Circle level. But the earlier schedule as decided by the BSNLEU WB Circle has been changed. Now as per the Unanimous decision of the meeting of the Joint Action Committee held on 21st September, 2011 at New Delhi, it is decided that there will be i) One Day Massive Fast at SSA/Circle/Corporate Office Levels on 27th September, 2011 followed by ii) One Day Strike on 10th October, 2011 by the Executives and the Non Executives Unions/Associations on the following demands:

  1. No VRS
  2. Immediate Payment of Bonus
  3. Restoration of Medical allowance, Leave encashment and LTC.
  4. Immediate Conclusion of the process of ITS absorption.
  5. 78.2% IDA Fixation
  6. Immediate procurement and supply of equipments for the betterment and expansion of BSNL service.
  7. Refund of dues to BSNL (detail laid down in the CHQ Website).

The District/Branch Secretaries are requested to contact with the JAC partners immediately and directed to join en masse on 27th September, 2011 from 10A.M. to 6 P.M. at the GM/TDM level to make the Massive Hunger Strike programme all success.

 

                         It is also stated for your information that the available Circle Office bearer under the leadership of Com. Animesh Mitra had a meeting with GM(HR/Admn),GM(F) and other Officers on 20/09/2011. The following points were raised and discussed in the meeting:

  1. Immediate Financial and other assistance for the Earth Quake affected hill areas of Darjeeling District and Sikkim.
  2. Immediate payment of O/T, Medical and other dues to the employees before puja.
  3. Payment of wages and Bonus to the Casual/Contractual Workers before Puja and commencement of EPF/ESI for the Casual Workers at the earliest opportunity.
  4. In view of the BSNL Corporate Office order and order issued by the CGM WB Circle demand immediate implementation of NEPP (as due on October,2011)to the eligible Officials  

The Authority has already issued orders in this regard, therefore Branch/ District Secretaries may contact with the Local Authority if any problem arises on the above issues.

 

                        In case of any urgency the Branch and District Secretaries are requested to contact the Circle Union/ Circle office bearers
