Sub: Finalisation of electoral rolls for holding 2nd membership verification of non-executive employees’ unions through secret ballot- clarifications regarding.
A number of reference have been received from the field units seeking clarifications in respect of finalisation of electoral rolls. The issues raised and the clarifications thereon are as follows:-

Whether non-executive officials, who will be retiring between 1.10.2004 to 30.11.2004, will be eligible to be included in the electoral rolls and cast their votes; and |
No. As per Para 2 (i) of this office letter of even number dated 04-10-2004 regarding " Procedure for conducting membership verification..", it is reiterated that those non-executive officials who retire / resign / expire or get promotion to executive category between 1.10.2004 to 30.11.2004 will not be eligible to cast their votes. |

Whether the non-executive officials, who join BSNL between 1.10.2004 to 30.11.2004, will be eligible to cast their votes. |
Yes, all those non-executive official who join BSNL between 1.10.2004 to 30.11.2004 will also be eligible to cast their votes subject to clarification at Sl. No. 2 above. |
