District / Branch Secretaries to note the following urgent informations.

Two meetings were held on 2^nd & 7^th January’2009 at Circle level with the participating unions regarding 4^th Membership Verification. Comrade Animesh Mitra, Circle Secretary, Biplab Das, Asstt. Circle Secretary, Gobinda Das, Circle Vice-President and Ajit Nandan, Asstt. Circle Secretary were present in the meetings. Some informations are noted below :-.

1. Inform all the voters that they should possess Identity Card positively during casting of vote. In case of non-availability of Identity Card, authorization letter from Controlling Officer will be required.

2. Casting of Vote will be started at 09.00 A.M. and will be completed at 05-00 P.M. without any break. Employees at queue upto 05-00 P.M. will be allowed to cast their vote. In case of hilly area like Darjeeling, Kalimpong , Kurseong and Sikkim, polling hour will be from 08.00 A.M. to 04-00 P.M. without any break.

3. Only authorized Officials and Officers with valid pass issued by the Heads should enter the Polling booths.

4. Counting of votes will start from 09-00 A.M. on 23-01-2009.

5. Counting agent should received a copy of Result sheet after counting of votes duly signed by Assistant Returning Officer.

6. Use of Mobile inside the Booth / Counting Centre should be avoided.

District / Branch Secretaries are once again requested to organize a meeting with the Polling / Counting Agent.
