WEST BENGAL CIRCLE UNION MOVING FAST FOR A THUMBING MAJORITY IN 5^TH MEMBERSHIP VERIFICATION.

01.	29/12/2010	Siliguri/ ETP	Com. Amitava Chattopadhyay, Treasurer of Circle Union attended at Siliguri for election campaign meeting. A large number of employees including Hill areas were present in the meeting and this time BSNLEU in Siliguri SSA is going to be the majority union. Com. Madhu Sudan .Saha, Asstt. Treasurer started the election campaign meeting at ETP. NFTE-FNTO members are meager number in that Project District. ETP District Union has assured that they will cast their vote cent percent in favour of BSNLEU.
02.	02/01/2011	Midnapore	Com. Animesh Mitra, Circle Secretary attended the election campaign meeting at Midnapore in Kharagpur SSA. Traditionally BSNLEU, Kharagpur SSA is a major union in West Bengal Circle. Last 6 years most of the FNTO members joined BSNLEU. This time BSNLEU will increase their votes.
03.	06/01/2011	Civil Wing	Com. Animesh Mitra, Circle Secretary and Com. Debashis Khan, Organising Secretary attended the meeting in Civil Wing at Yogayog Bhawan. At Civil Wing NFTE & FNTO divided in to 2-3 parts. Their members are thinking to vote for BSNLEU this time.
04,	07/01/2011	Kharagpur/ CTO	Com. Shyamapada Gord, Organising Secretary attended the election campaign meeting at Kharagpur GM office. A large number of members were present in the meeting and assured to vote in favour of BSNLEU. Com. Prabir Chatterjee, Vice President attend the extended District working Committee meeting at C.T.O. Kolkata. This time 80% vote will cast in favour of BSNLEU. A large number of FNTO members joined BSNLEU along with Circle leadership.
05,	08/01/2011	Bolpur	Com. Ashis Das, Assistant Circle Secretary attended the election campaign meeting at Bolpur of Suri SSA. Cent percent BSNLEU members were present in the meeting and 95% employees will cast their vote in favour of BSNLEU.
06,	10/01/2011	CGMT(O)	Com. Dhananjay Ganguly, Leader Staff side, Com. Banani Chattopadhyay, Organising Secretary and Com. Animesh Mitra, Circle Secretary attended a meeting in CGMT Office. A large number of employees attended in the meeting. There is no NFTE-BSNL Union, only a few FNTO members who are thinking to cast their vote in favour of BSNLEU. It is expected that there will be no union in coming verification except BSNLEU in CGMT Office District Branch.
07,	11/01/2011	ETR	Com. Rammilan Roy, Organising Secretary, Com Animesh Mitra Circle Secretary attended the election campaign meeting at ETR Telephone Bhawan . There is no union except BSNLEU.
08,	11/01/2011	QA	Com. Prabir Chatterjee, Vice President, Com. Animesh Mitra, Circle Secretary & Com. Biplab Das, Org. Secretary(CHQ) attended the election meeting at QA. Cent percent vote will be cast in favour of BSNLEU like previous membership verification.
09,	11/01/2011	CTTC	Com. Animesh Mitra , Circle secretary Com. Biplab Das, Organising Secy.(CHQ) attended the Election meeting at Training Class. There is no other unions except BSNLEU. Dr.TTAs were present in the meeting and assured to cast their vote in favour of BSNLEU.
10,	13/01/2011	ETP	Com. Swapan Chanda, Asstt. Circle Secretary attended the election meeting at CGMT ETP office. Com. Animesh Mitra , Circle Secretary al so attended the meeting and demanded for withdraw the no. 24 clause of latest clarification on NEPP. Accordingly CGM,ETP has written a letter to BSNL C.O. on that day and a copy of the letter handed over to the Circle Secretary.
11,	13/01/2011	TCO	Com. Jhumur Bandyopadhyay, Com. Banani Chattopadhyay both Organising Secretaries attended the election meeting at TCO. Only BSNLEU exists in TCO District Branch. Therefore Cent percent members will cast their votes in favour of BSNLEU in the 5^th MV.
12,	14/01/2011	Coochbehar/ Alipurduar	Com. Amitava Chattopadhyay, Treasurer attended the meeting at Coochbehar. Majority employees will cast their vote in favour of BSNLEU. Com. Prabir ghosh, Assistant Circle Secretary, attended the election campaign meeting at Alipurduar.
13,	15/01/2011	Jalpaiguri	Com. Amitava Chattopadhyay, Trasurer attended the meeting at Jalpaiguri. This time BSNLEU Jalpaiguri SSA remain no.1 Union.
	15/01/2011	Bagdogra/ Siliguri	Com. Parimal Sarkar, President of the Circle Union attended the election campaign meeting both at Bagdogra and Siliguri. Large number of employees attended in the meeting. A section of NFTE-BSNL members will vote in favour of BSNLEU in the 5^th MV.
14,	15/01/2011	Rampurhat	Com. Biplab Das, Organisng Secretary, CHQ attended the election meeting at Rampurhat. 100% members were present in the meeting. DR.TTA members will cast their vote in favour of BSNLEU. There is no NFTE/FNTO Branches.
15,	16/01/2011	Suri	Com. Biplab Das, Organising Secretary (CHQ) attended the election campaign meeting at Suri. Few days back NFTE All India/Circle leaders visited the Suri but it is reported that their members did not turn up their meeting. Only a few employees numbering 10-12 were present but frustrated to listen their speeches. This time a large number of NFTE/FNTO members will cast their vote in favour of BSNLEU.
