District Conference- TCO DISTRICT

The 5^th District Conference of Telegraph Check Office District was held on 30.11.2011 in the TRC room of Telegraph Check Office, Kolkata .

Com Ashutosh Das, District President hoisted the Red flag. The martyr’s column was garlanded by the Circle and District leaders of BSNLEU and AIBDPA.

Comrade. Animesh Mitra, Circle Secretary, inaugurated the conference and deliberated his speech on the present political and economical scenario of India and abroad, he especially emphasized the derogative attitude of the BSNL administration to abolish the name of BSNL and its employees from this Country. He also opined that only unity of the working class of India can resist the attack with the help of their sustain struggle. Com. Mitra also narrated the issues related to Strike of BSNL to be held on 15^th December’2011. Comrade Gobinda Das, Circle Leader of AIBDPA, Comrade Jhumur Bandyopadhyay, Organising Secretary, BSNLEU, WB Circle , Comrade Joydeb Dutta, Asstt District Secretary, BSNLEU CTO District, Comrade Ramprasad Dutta, District Secretary, Kolkata District and Comrade Dipak Mitra, President AIBDPA, West Bengal Circle spoke on the occasion. Comrade Ranajit Halder, District Secretary, TCO tabled the draft report and Com. Biswanath Singha, District treasurer read out the accounts of the District before the house for discussion. Altogether 88 members out of 102 attained the District Conference, and 11 members  discussed on the report. Then the house unanimously passed the report and accounts.Com Prabir Chatterjee, Vice president, BSNLEU WB spoke before the house at the flag end of the Conference.

Com Ashutosh Das, Com Biswanath Singha and Com Sanjiban Naskar were elected unanimously by the house as President, District Secretary and Treasurer respectively for the years 2011 and 2012
