Report on 23^rd June Agtational programme on the price hike issue.

At the call of BSNLEU, CHQ demonstration was held at all the branches of W.B. Telecom Circle against the price hike by the UPA-2 Govt. It was observed by the employees with all seriousness. In most of the branches it was observed that a large section of employees were present in the demonstration.

Com. Animesh Mitra, Circle Secretary spoke before the gathering at ETR. He spoke about how the UPA-2 Govt has taken the anti worker decision in our country and how the price of the essential commodities are raising day by day. For which the toiling masses have to suffer. He also pointed out that the new Govt. in West Bengal is totally silent in this regard. He also narrated about the present situation of BSNL and different thinking of the Management in r/o VRS/CRS.
