Traditional & Militant Branch Conference held at Ranaghat .

The Branch Conference of Ranaghat branch was held at Ranaghat Telephone Exchange Recreation Club Hall ( Comrade Moni Bose Mancha) on 13/ 11/ 2011.The Conference started at 12 Noon. The red flag was hoisted; martyrs column and the photos of our departed leaders Comrade K.G. Bose and Comrade Moni Bose were garlanded. The inaugural speech was delivered by Comrade Amitava Chattopadhyay Circle Treasurer, BSNLEU WB Circle. Comrade Chattopadhyay in his speech told regarding the attack of VRS, the issue of non expansion of BSNL and deterioration of service due to non supply of necessary equipments, PFRDA Bill and other allied issues which affects BSNL and its employees nowadays. Comrade Prabir Biswas, leader of CGCC Ranaghat sub-division and Mr Sujit Choudhury, SDE Ranaghat, Com Nemai Das, Dist Secy BSNLCMU Krishnagar, Com. Asoke Banerjee- AIBDPA and Com. Dulal Chakraborty, Br. Secy, Krishnagar also delivered their speeches in the open session. Altogether 70 comrades including our lady comrades were present. Comrade Bidhan Pramanik, Branch Secretary, Ranaghat Branch placed the Annual Report on behalf of Branch Union and call to the delegates for a good discussion. Comrade Prabir Banerjee, District Secretary, Krishnagar and Comrade Parimal Sarkar, President, BSNLEU WB Circle delivered their speeches at the flag end of the conference. Altogether 10-12 members expressed their views in the delegate session. The conference ended at 5 P.M..
