PURULIA DISTRICT CONFERENCE:-

5^th District Conference of BSNLEU Purulia District was held on 22^nd January’2012 at Karmachari Bhawan, Purulia. Just 1030 hrs. BSNLEU Flag was hoisted by Com. S.D. Burman , President of the District Union. Com. Dhruba Singh, Ex-District Secretary of BSNLEU and Jt. Convenor of 12 July Committee, Purulia District, Com. Biplab Das, Asstt. Circle Secretary, Com. Narsingh Paswan, District Secretary, Com. Tarapada Panda, BSNLCMU and other leaders of AIBDPA, CGCC and 12 July Committee garlanded the Martyres Column and observed one minute silence in memory of eminent leaders , workers who fought throughout their life for working class movement.

Com. Hemanta Chowdhury, Jt. Secretary 12 July Committee inaugurated the District Conference. Com. Biplab Das, Asstt. Circle Secretary deliberated his speech on the decisions taken in the last 2days Circle Working Committee meeting held on 20^th and 21^st January’2012. He specially stressed upon to organize the strike on 28^th February’2012. Com. Dhruba Singh eminent P&T leaders of Purulia District deliberated his speech. Com. N. Paswan, District Secretary placed the bi-ennial report and accounts before the delegates present in the Conference. Delegates discussed on the report.

At the end of the Conference Com. S.D. Burman, Com. Narsingh Paswan and Com. L.K.Bag elected unanimously as President, District Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
