Massive Dharna programme at CGMT Office

At the call of BSNLCMU WB Circle a dharna programme was organised at CGMT WB office premises. A huge numbers of casual and contract workers in and around the Kolkata were present and participated in that programme. Com P K Nandi and Com S P Pandey were on the chair. The dharna was organised on the demands of regularisation of Casual workers, grant the pay in the IDA scale, EPF/ESI facilities, payment of security guards in a regular measures, grant of bonus and 3 days leave etc.  Com Samir Nandy,       Com Animesh Mitra, Com Jhumur Banerjee, Com Tarak Kundu and Com Tapash Ghosh spoke in this dharna programme. A delegation consists of Com Asis Das, Com Kalyan Raha,Com Gautam Das and Tapash Ghosh under the leadership of Com Animesh Mitra met with CGMT WB Mr. Soumya Roy and demanded for early settlement of the demands,  specially to extend the benefit of ESI facilities immediately. CGM WB assured to settle it immediately.
