Subject:- Demand for restoration of steady mobile service.
Sir,
It is a matter of serious concern and anxiety that
sudden interruption in the mobile service has been continuing for about a week
affecting the service in the entire Eastern and North Eastern India. Futile
attempts of the customers for SIM activation and prepaid recharge are frustrating them a substantial portion
of whom are being compelled to switch over to other
private operators. There is also a huge drop in the sale of SIM and Recharge Coupons
causing to suffer loss of revenue as well as reputation of the BSNL to a great
extent.
Considering the degree of damage you
will also appreciate that the positive apprehension of sabotage can not be
denied. Naturally it will be in the fitness of the things to set up a probe
into the matter under an
impartial , capable and independent team to find out how such a
massive interruption in the service took place , who is actually responsible
and to set an examplary punishment for the culprit.
We the entire workforce of the Circle
including the officers demand immediate restoration of the steady and
uninterrupted mobile service in the interest BSNL as well as its customers and
to devise technological protective measure to avoid such damage in future.
Otherwise we shall have no option but to organize the well-wishers and
customers in our struggle against any motivated damage to BSNL.
Thanking You,
Yours faithfully,
Circle
