JAC WEST BENGAL HAS DECIDED TO CONTINUE THE CAMPAIGN PROGRAMME FOR THE STRIKE ACTION AGAINST VRS AND ANTI-WORKER POLICY OF THE

MANAGEMENT AND THE GOVT.

A meeting of Joint Action Committee of West Bengal State held on today i.e. 3^rd November’2011 at BSNLEU union Office, C.T.O Kolkata at 1600 hrs. to review the situation and future course of programme. Com. Swapan Bose , AIBSNLEA presided over the meeting. Com. Animesh Mitra, convenor of the JAC narrated and endorsed the decisions of JAC, New Delhi held on 31-10-2011. Com. Prasun Mukhopadhyay, SNEA, Com. Hrit Narayan Roy, NFTE , Com. Biplab Das, BSNLEU, Com. Aghore Sikdar, President BSNLEU, CTD, Com. Bala , President NFTE, CTD, Com. Dilip Saha, State Secretary, SNEA , Com. Tapas Ghosh, SNEA , Com. Subhasish Roy, BSNLEU, CTD and others Comrades were present and deliberated their opinion in the meeting.

Decisions:-

1. Intensify the campaign programme on the demands of Strike action .

2. An active workers meeting will be held to educate and guide on the subject VRS, BWA, NTP-2011 etc.

3. Unions and Associations will conduct separately campaign programme before their respective members within 15^th Nov’2011.

4. State JAC leaders will visit to the different Districts in the 2^nd phased programme.

5. A leaflet will be published describing our views against VRS etc.

6. A mammoth rally will be organized just before the strike.

7. A press conference will be arranged just before the strike.

8. Every Unions and Associations will take sincere effort for building greater unity.

9. JAC leaders will meet the Hon’ble MPs of West Bengal and request to take up the issues related to survival of BSNL in the coming session of Parliament.

Next JAC meeting will be held on 18^th November’2011 at 1600 hours at BSNLEU Union Office, C.T.O. Kolkata.
