DISCUSSION WITH CGMT, W.B. CIRCLE ON 24-09-2009.

A Discussion was held with Sri Soumya Roy, CGMT W.B. Circle on 24-09-2009. Com. Animesh Mitra, Circle Secretary and Com. Biplab Das, Asstt. Circle Secretary was present in the discussion. Circle Secretary expressed his strong resentment regarding non-settlement of staff issues and he alleged that after the decisions arrived at various meetings and assurances given by the CGMT were not dealt with properly or not implemented. It causes strong staff resentment. Circle Union demanded for early settlement of the long pending staff issues like stoppage of Wasteful expenditure, Declaration of Result TTA Examination, TM posting of Civil Wing, Rule-38 Transfer cases, Regularisation of Casual labourers, Temporary status to the Casual labourers, EPF to the Casual labourers , Enhanced payment of Contractual labourers including arrears , Non- settlement of pension cases, pending BSNLMRS cases etc. If the cases are not settled with a stipulated time bound period Circle Union have no other option to organize serious higher trade union action including 72 hours continuous Dharna at CGMT level .
