An extended Circle working Committee meeting was held on 16^th and 17^th July’2011 at Telecom Institute, Central Telegraph Office, Kolkata-1. Com. Dhananjoy Ganguly, our Ex-President and distinguished Trade Union leader inaugurated the Extended CWC meeting which was presided by Com. Parimal Sarkar and other Vice-presidents. Com. Animesh Mitra , Circle Secretary presented the report before the house. About 130 District/ Branch Secretaries and Circle Office bearers from different SSAs were present in the CWC meeting. Com. Susanto Ghosh, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA , W.B. Circle, Com. Tapas Ghosh, Secretary General, BSNL Casual/Contracts workers Federation, Com. Saibal Sengupta, President of Co-ordination Committee of BSNL Unions were welcomed and deliberated their valuable speeches. After threadbare discussion the following decisions and organizational programmes were narrated below:-

1. Due Branch/District Conferences should be held within September’2011.

2. All Branch/District Secretaries should take sincere effort to observe the 5^th August as the 10^th Anniversary of formation of BSNLEU West Bengal Circle Branch. On that day the day will be observed in a befitting manner with decorating chain flag etc. at all Offices/Exchanges and hoisting of our Union Flag and holding of Blood donation camp , rally, Seminar etc. may be conducted.

3. Organise movement to improve the BSNL services and Customer Care.

4. Fight against VRS/CRS unitedly.

5. Resist unitedly against the attack on Trade Union rights and physical attack on our employees at different office/exchanges.

6. Extend solidarity support towards the movement of Casual/Contract workers and Pensioners.

7. Immediate organize the local level movement to settle the employees problems.

8. Hold group meetings/unit meeting /General Body meetings amongst the members to strengthen the organization.

9. Increase Cultural activities at all District level and organize a cultural activities on 8^th August’2011 and send a report to the Circle Union.
