Dear Comrade,

  • ALL INDIA CONVENTION:-

            1st All India Convention of Casual /  Contract workers of BSNL is going to be held on 14th & 15th March’2008. The Sub-committee of the Reception Committee  is  functioning in full swing . Around 300 delegates except West Bengal State will attend the Convention. Inaugural session & delegate session will be held at Binani Bhavan, 81 Pathuriaghat Street, Kolkata-4 at 1030 A.M. Comrade V.A.N. Namboodiri , General Secretary, B.S.N.L. Employees Union (CHQ) will inaugurate the session. Comrade Sudhangshu Sil, M.P. &  Chief Guest of the Convention, Comrade Shyamal Chakraborty, President , C.I.T.U., W.B. State and other esteemed leaders will present in the inaugural session. “Open Session” will be held on 15th March’2008 at Mahajati Sadan at 1300 hrs. Comrade M.K. Pandhe, President, CITU, New Delhi will be the main speaker in the Open Session. The meeting will be  concluded within 1730 hrs.

  • RALLY:-

            A rally will be organized on 15th March’08 at 1030 hrs. from Binani Bhawan to Mahajati Sadan. CGCC, West Bengal has decided to mobilise the employees of Central Govt. at Girish Park- Central Avenue junction to greet the rally.

  • PARTICIPATION:-

            District/ Branch Secretaries throughout West Bengal Telecom Circle  are requested to attend the “Open Session “ on 15th instant. District/ Branch Secretaries in and around Kolkata are requested to mobiles their members at Mahajati Sadan  at 1300 hrs. The quota fixed to each District Union is given below:-

  • DONATION :-

Reception Committee of the All India Convention has taken a serious note that most of the District Union particularly  in North Bengal and few District Unions at South Bengal did not remitted the donation @ Rs.100/= per member which decision had been taken in our last Circle Conference at Burdwan. Therefore, again the Dist./Branch Secretaries are requested to remit the donation to the Circle Union without further delay.

  • RALLIES AT THE CALL OF 12 JULY COMMITTEE:-

Organise rallies to each Districts throughout West Bengal Telecom Circle on 12th March’2008 against the high price rise at the call of 12 July Committee. District / Branch Secretaries in and around Kolkata are requested to join the rallies along with the members from Rani Rashmoni Road at 1700 hrs.

  • ORGANISATIONAL PROGRAM AT THE CALL OF UNITED FORUM, NEW DELHI ON 13TH AND 18TH MARCH’2008:-

Organise lunch hour demonstration program on 13th March’2008 and fax to be sent to the CMD/Minister

on Promotion Committee issue at the call United Forum. Take serious preparation for holding Hunger Strike / Demonstration at SSA level / Circle level on 18th March’2008.
