Dear Comrade,
At
the outset on behalf of BSNLEU, W.B. Circle we convey our revolutionary
greetings to all BSNL Employees including Casual & Contractual labourers on the occasion of great “Revolutionary November Day ”
A Circle
Office Bearer meeting was held on 6th November’2007 in the CTO Union Office. Comrade
Dhananjay Ganguly
presided over the meeting.
Discussion took place on some important issues and decisions
taken thereof are given below for your
information and implementation of the same.
Organisation:- Earlier decision of the
Circle Union advising the District Secretaries to hold DWC meetings on organisational situation and task ahead associating Circle
Union representatives was reviewed. It was observed that only four/five District Unions have so
far conducted such meetings and
5/6 District Unions have conveyed the proposed dates of the DWC meeting
to the Circle Union; These sort of
meetings require to be completed by 10th
December’2007. District Secretaries who have not yet intimated about such
meetings are requested to fix up the dates of meetings and let the Circle Union
know to enable it to send the Circle Union representatives accordingly.
7th
November’2007:- Agitational programme
will be organised on 8 point demands at every SSA H.Qs / Sub-Divisional level at the call of CPSTU. A report
should be sent
to the Circle Union in this regard.
14th
November’2007:- Co-ordination Committee of Central Govt. Employees & Workers
Unions’ and Associations’, West Bengal
have decided to organise a Seminar on 14th November’2007 at Subarna Banik Samaj
Hall, (Ganesh Chandra Avenue ) Kolkata at 1700 hours. Comrade Srideep Bhattacharyee, Working President of “ Biggan Mancha “ West
Bengal will be the chief speaker on the subject “ The Great Revolutionary
November Day and its Significance”.
District / Branch Secretaries in and around Kolkata
are requested to attend the seminar along with their members positively.
21st November”2007. Mass Hunger Strike programme will be organised at
all SSA H.Q. at the call of United Forum. District / Branch Secretaries are
requested to take initiative to organise the programme unitedly. The demands
of the programme should be propagated to all
employees. BSNLEU, CHQ has already given the notice to the CMD in this regard.
One day token Strike will be staged on 12-12-2007 if the problems are not
settled.
Trade Union
Class:- Centrally a
Trade Union Class will be held on 26th & 27th
November’2007 at Telecom Institute Hall, C.T.O. Kolkata.
BSNLEU, Project District Union has decided to arrange the Trade Union Classes. Comrade Shyamal Chakraborty, President C.I.T.U. and Comrade Pranab Chattopadhya, Editor Sangrami Hatiar will speak in the Trade Union classes . District Secretaries in and around Kolkata are requested to attend this classes
along with District Committee members. Details will be communicated later on.
4th
Circle conference:- 4th Circle conference of BSNLEU
W.B. circle will be held from on and from 27th
to 30th December’2007 at Burdwan.
Branch Secretaries are requested to elect the Circle delegates immediately and
convey the number of delegates as per constitution to the circle Union. Further
details will be communicated in this regard.
Wage
enhancement of Casual labourers :- Consequent upon the BSNLEU/BSNLCMU Circle Unions effort including
discussions supported by contineous struggle. The West Bengal Circle Administration has issued a circular to all SSA Heads
throughout West Bengal Circle. District Secretaries are requested to take
initiative for payment of enhanced wages to the Casual labourers
immediately.
