Dear
Comrade,
Firstly,
on behalf of Circle Union I congratulate to all of you to make a grand success
of our 2nd Circle Conference held at Kharagpur from 7th
to 10th September’2005. I also congratulate to the Reception
Committee and the democratic organizations who played a vital role in making
the Conference a grand success .
The
remarkable conference has directed to
implement the following decisions:
1.
Preparation
for organizational programme to make the
September 29 strike a resounding success throughout the country and make
efforts for maximum participation of members in the strike. The 2nd
Circle Conference gave a clarion call “
Don’t Stay idle in house , join the mass programme on 29th September
“ . Strike Notice has been given by the BSNLEU
CHQ ( New Delhi ) on 15th and the Circle Union has also
placed the strike intimation before the CGMT W.B. Circle with a mass gathering.
2.
To
Fight against Franchaisee / Out-sourcing .
3.
Immediate
Regularise and enhancement of the wage
of Casual Mazdoors.
4.
To
Organise Demonstration demanding more
developmental activities in W.B. Circle i.e. Distribution of Sim card through
Departmental CSCs, Exchanges, Telegraph Offices etc. Fulfilling the waitlisted
NTC etc.
5.
Preparation
for next membership verification-2006 and increase the membership.
Four Circle
Unions of BSNLEU in West Bengal has decided the following organizational
programme to make a grand success of September,29 strike.

“ Strike intimation Day “ :
15th September’2005.
·
Human Chain, Rally, Demonstration :
19 the september’05.
·
To participate the mammoth rally on 27th September’05 at the
call of 12 July Committee.
In and around Kolkata the
District Secretaries are requested to observe the above said programme in a
befitting manner. A human Chain will be organized in front of Telephone Bhawan
and C.T.O. Building on
19th
September’05. District Union out side Kolkata will observe the programme in
front of their SSA Head Quarters. The quota fixed for District Unions in and
around Kolkata are given below:
