Leaders of BSNLEU & BSNLCMU, West Bengal Circle met with CGMT, W.B. Circle.

Com. Animesh Mitra, Circle Secretary, W.B. Circle, Com. Tapas Ghosh, Circle Secretary, BSNLCMU along with Com. Biplab Das, Asis Das & Kalyan Raha met with Sri Soumya Roy, C.G.M.T. W.B. Circle on 9-11-2011. Circle Union demands for immediate solution of pending issues of Employees and Casual/Contract workers which was discussed and decide in the last Circle Council meeting. Circle Secretary, BSNLEU strongly demanded to settle some transfer cases, Medical cases, EPF/ESI settlement through discussion with the respective authority etc. etc. Circle Union also noticed and informed to the CGMT that in the name of fund curtailment the wages of security guards are not paid for the last 3-4 months. The service of GSM is not upto the mark in lieu of proper maintenance of Towers etc. Circle Union expressed their anxiety for the developmental issues. After threadbare discussion finally Circle Union intimates to the CGMT that Union have no other alternative to stage Trade Union action within this month to solve the burning staff problems.
