INTENSIFY THE CAMPAIGN PROGRAMME FOR THE ONE DAY STRIKE ON 15^TH DECEMBER’2011.

Today the 2^nd December’2011 an extended meeting of BSNL Co-ordination Committee was held in the CTO Union Office at 1330 hrs. Com. Saibal Sengupta, President of the Co-ordination committee presided over the meeting. Com. Animesh Mitra, Secretary narrated the agenda items on rally programme on 8^th December’2011, one day strike on 15^th December’2011 and also reviewed the organizational programme during the Month of November’2011 i.e. Jail Bhoro on 8^th November’2011 , March to Parliament against PFRDA bill on 25^th and the programme of United Forum on 18^th and 28^th and 29^th November and JAC programme on 22^nd November’2011. Com. Supriyo Mitra, AIBDPA, Com. Biplab Das, BSNLEU-W.B. Circle, Com. Aghore Sikdar, BSNLEU-CTD Circle and Com. Adhir Sen, Telecom Stores discussed in the meeting. Com. Piyush Chakraborty, AIBDPA, Com. Kalyan Raha, BSNLCMU and others leaders and Circle Office bearers of the consitutients of Co-ordination Committee were present in the meeting. Around 76 Comrades were present in the extended meeting. The following decisions have been taken in the meeting are narrated below:-

1. Intensify the campaign programme and raise the strike issues to the members.

2. Gate meeting/squatting will be organized at every exchanges / offices throughout West Bengal to organize massive participation of the workers to the rally on 8^th December’2011.

3. In Kolkata a colourful procession will be organized on 8^th December’2011 and it will start at 2 P.M. sharp from the Tram Company( No.1 R.N. Mukherjee Road ) to Rani Rash Moni Road. A demonstration will be staged at Rani Rashmoni Road at 1430 hrs. and it will end at 1630 hrs. At the end of the meeting a memorandum will be submitted to the Ho’nble Governor, Govt. of West Bengal. Similarly District Union of outside Kolkata will organize the rally.

4. Posters , leaflet, Banner will be supplied by the BSNL-Co-ordination Committee.

5. It is also decided that the expenditures incurred by the BSNL Co-ordination Committee will be borne by the Constituents unions.

6. The Consensus opinion of BSNL Co-ordination Committee will be discussed in the meeting of Joint Action Committee which will be held on today at 1530 hrs.

7. Rally and Campaign for one day Strike will be under the leadership of Joint Action Committee, West Bengal State. Therefore District Union should contact with other Unions and Associations to make the rally as a grand success and to ensure cent percent employees participation in the strike action.

8. A separate intimation will be circulated from the Joint Action Committee, West Bengal.
