Sub: Conduct of 2nd membership verification on 1.12.2004 for election of a majority representative union of non-executive employees in BSNL – Printing of ballot papers regarding

Ref: This office letter of even number dated 15th October, 2004

Kindly refer this office letter referred to above vide which sample ballot paper for conduct of 2nd membership verification on 1.12.2004 for electing a majority representative union of non-executive employees in BSNL was circulated.

2. Representations have been received in this office from some of the participating unions that the space allotted for the election symbols is irregular in size, i.e. space allotted to some of the unions is less whereas space allotted to others is more in size, particularly in height. Needless to mention that this office circulated only the sample ballot paper, but the Circles are to ensure that, at the time of printing of final ballot papers, the space allotted for the election symbol of each participating union is equal in size so as to avoid any discrimination.
