BIHAR MARCHING AHEAD TOWARDS A MASSIVE LEAD  IN 4TH MEMBERSHIP VERIFICATION

 

Chennai Circle,

 

Chennai will uphold its tradition of winning in a very convincing manner. Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri, General Secretary, BSNLEU and Convenor, United Forum visited Chennai on 29-12-2009. More than two thousand workers assembled at the Flower Bazaar Telephone Exchange.

More than 70% vote will be in favour of BSNLEU(United Forum)

Chhattisgarh Circle

 

Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri, General Secretary, BSNLEU along with Coms. Mallikarjun, Chairman, BSNLMS (BTEF), J.P. Nankhed, Dy. General Secretary, BSNLMS (BTEF) and other leaders of United Forum addressed a massive meeting of BSNL employees at Raipur on 17.12.2008. More than 300 employees were present. BSNLEU is sure to win with more than 70% votes and get recognition. United Forum had made all efforts to bring BSNL workers together under Joint Forum and organised struggles to defend BSNL & BSNL workers.

 

Gujarat Circle

 

General Secretary tours Gujarat on 1st to 2nd January, 2009 – Ahmedabad on 1st and Bhuj on 2nd January. Gujarat is poised to get more than 60% of total votes to BSNLEU. 50 members of FNTO of Palanpur District, Gujarat, joined BSNLEU. 75 members of FNTO under the leadership of Coms. M.S. Parekh, Asst. Circle Secretary, FNTO, Gujarat circle and Y.T. Naik, Asst. District Secretary, FNTO, Valsad SSA joined BSNLEU.
Haryana Circle,

 

Haryana will continue its forward march and will ensure more than 75% support to BSNLEU led United Forum. . Thiswas the assurance given by the workers in Haryana during the tour of Com.V.A.N. Namboodiri, General Secretary, BSNLEU and other leaders of United Forum. A large number of BSNL Employees were attended at  Faridabad (22.12.2008) , Gurgaon (22.12.2008) ,  Sonepat (12.01.2009)  & Ambala (12.01.2009).
Himachal Pradesh Circle

The District union of BSNLW (FNTO) of Sundernagar District Branch Mandi (H.P.) merged with BSNLEU alongwith all members in a meeting on 13th January'09 in presence of Com. Swapan Chakraborty, AGS, BSNLEU (CHQ) & Com. H.L. Syal, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, H.P. Circle.

J&K Circle

Jharkhand Circle,

 

JHARKHAND WORKERS WILL ENSURE MAJORITY TO UNITED FORUM AND CHANGE HISTORY – MASSIVE MEETING AT RANCHI ON 10.01.2009. More than 300 workers attended the meeting to hear the speech of Com. V.A.N. G.S. BSNLEU.

Kerala Circle,

 

Com. V.A.N.Namboodiri, General Secretary, BSNLEU along with Coms. R. Muralidharan Nair, AGS, K. Mohanan, Circle Secretary, Gopakumar, Asst. Circle Secretary, Jyothi Lakshmi, Convenor, Mahila Committee and Pankajam N. Namboodiri toured all SSAs in Kerala and addressed meetings at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alapuzha (18.11.2008) Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Eranakulam (19.11.2008) Kannur, Kozhikode (20.11.2008) Malappuram (21.11.2008), Palakkad and Thrissur (22.11.2008). Each meeting was attended by 500 to 600 comrades. Despite FNTO leaving the United Forum, BSNLEU Kerala is confident of increasing its votes in fourth membership verification. BSNLEU will with more than 70%.

Karnataka Circle

 

Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri, General Secretary, BSNLEU along with Coms. C.K. Gundanna, Circle Secretary,G.B. Salakki, CHQ Vice-President, J.V. Keshav, Circle Treasurer, Sudarshan, District Secretary and other leaders toured Hubli, Belgaum and Karwar on 11th & 12th December, 2008.

Massive mobilization was done and a large number of workers were present at Hubli (11.12.2008) Belgaum (11.12.2008) Karwar (11.12.2008). Karnataka-Bangalore (Karnataka-Bangalore 30.12.2008)

 The meeting has once again shown that there will be more than 80% support to United Forum from Karnataka, this improving the position than last membership

verification.

The District Branch of FNTO with all the 41 members merged with BSNLEU under the leadership of Comrades A.D.Kulkarni, President and S.B. Nadkarni, District Secretary, FNTO. Kolar Branch, Karnataka of NUBSNLW (FNTO) merged with BSNLEU

124 FNTO workers in Sanchar Complex has joined BSNLEU. 36 members both from NFTE-BSNL & NUBSNLW (FNTO) in Utter Kannada SSA (Karwar) have joined BSNLEU on 14.01.2009. FNTO Branch union of Jaynagar branch under Bangalore Telecom District dissolved and all its 78 members joined BSNLEU.

Tejpore Branch, Bangalore, dissolved and merged with BSNLEU.

 

Madhya Pradesh Circle

 

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) – 04.12.2008

The Extended Circle Executive Committee meeting of Madhya Pradesh Circle held at Bhopal on 4th December, 2008 was a big success. About 500 Comrades participated including Branch Secretaries and active workers. The Extended CEC meeting was inaugurated by Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri, General Secretary Com. Rashid Ali, Circle President presided. Com. S.R. Nayak, Circle Secretary was present.

Maharashtra Circle

 

Though the programme was fixed only in the last minute, more than 500 workers gathered in the spacious BSNL hall in Panaji in the late evening of 12th December. Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri and other leaders were present .

Khandeparker, District President presided and Com. Vijay Belgankar, District Secretary welcomed. Com. Prakash Naik, Circle Vice-President, Maharashtra Circle and senior leader Com. Naidu were also present. Again at short notice a well attended meeting was held at WTR office Premises in  Maharashtra – Mumbai 31.12.2008. FNTO District Union of Ahmednagar of Maharashtra circle dissolved itself.

78 NFTE Comrades joined BSNLEU at Kolhapur .All the 100 members of NFTE in Buldana, (Maharashtra) along with District President and District Secretary joined BSNLEU. 47 NFTE members in Jalgaon, 40 members in Chopda joined BSNLEU. Buldana SSA branch of NFTE merged with  BSNLEU

District Vice President of FNTO, Shri M.I. Sheik, Barshi along with his followers have joined BSNLEU at Solapur protesting against the anti-worker policy of NFTE-FNTO alliance 55 members of NFTE have joined BSNLEU at Solapur on 29.12.2008 BSNLEU will with more than 70%.

The SSA Branch of NUBSNLW (FNTO), Ahmed Nagar, Maharashtra unanimously decided and merged with BSNLEU.
