IMPORTANT& NECESSARY TASKS ON THE EVE OF VTH MV

SCHEDULE OF CAMPAIGN MEETINGS

Dear Comrades,

The Vth Membership Verification of BSNL Non Executives will be held on 01/02/2011. Accordingly the First Election Campaign Meeting was held on 29th December 2010 at Siliguri SSA. Comrade VAN Namboodiri addressed a huge rally of BSNL Employees at CTO TI Hall, Kolkata on the same day. Number of District / Branch Unions has already intimated their Date & Venue of the Election Campaign Meeting to the Circle Union. The Dist/Br. Secys are directed to perform the following necessary works relate to Vth Membership Verification at the earliest opportunity.

1) Check and scrutinize the Voter List with all sincerity and intimate the Circle Union within 20^th Jan, 2011 regarding the possible number votes to be polled in favour of BSNLEU.

2) It is already decided that the Dist/Br organizers and leaders will take all necessary efforts to organise meetings in every Exchange/Office within 15^th Jan, 2011, will interact with the employees with a patient hearing and will also try to give satisfactory answers of the questions. The Dist secys are requested to inform the progress of campaign programme in their Districts, immediately to the Circle Union in writing.

3) The Circle Union has already sent campaign materials like Posters, Flex, Chain Flags, Voter Slips in the Ist Phase. In the next phase the Circle Union will send Folders, Posters (4^th Phase), Metal seals and Volunteer Badges. The Branch Unions are requested to collect the above materials only at the cost of Rs1000/-. They have to contact the Circle Union for their requirements immediately.

4) The Authority will meet with all the applicant Unions before the Vth Membership Verification at the GM/TDM Level, on 20th Jan, 2011 and the CGM will meet the Unions on 18^th Jan, 2011.The Dist/Br secys are requested to see whether the voters have valid Identity Card, if any voter does not possess I/card then the organizers are directed to arrange the same immediately.

5) The District Secretaries are directed to form Booth Committee and Volunteer Team for Vth MV. They are also directed to select at least 2 Polling Agents for each Booth and inform the Circle Union accordingly.

6) The Schedule of the Election Campaign Meeting of the All India Leaders in WB Circle are stated below:

a) 18th January,2011-------Calcutta Telephone Bhawan---------0100P.M.------Com. P.Abhimanyu.

b) 20th January,2011------ Asansol ( South Bengal Dist/Br)-------0200P.M.-----Com. P. Abhimanyu.

c) 20th January, 2011-----Durgapur(incldg. BDN/SURI/BKU)—1200P.M.-----Com. P.Abhimanyu.

d) 29th January,2011-------Siliguri (North Bengal Dist/Br)--------0100P.M.----Com. VAN Namboodiri.

7) The Circle Union has decided that following Circle Office Bearers will attend the meeting as listed below

in the coming days. The District/ Branch Union, who did not inform the schedule of their Election

Campaign Meeting till date, is directed to contact Circle Secretary immediately. The Circle Secy.
